Hybrid Zinc Rich Powder Coating

Description

HGY001S6 ZINC RICH POWDER PRIMER is designed for functional applications where optimum corrosion resistance is a critical requirement. HGY001S6 has excellent mechanical, protective and overbake properties. It is designed to be used as a prime coat under other powder coatings. The high level of zinc metal in the coating allows for excellent transfer efficiency of the topcoating powders.

HGY001S6 ZINC RICH POWDER PRIMER is designed to be applied in the range 30 - 70 microns. It is recommended, for energy efficiency reasons, that HGY001S6 primed parts be baked only long enough to allow the HGY001S6 to melt and flow out before removal from the oven. Adhesion of topcoat powder to the primer is unchanged if the HGY001S6 is part baked, fully baked, or significantly over-baked.
